What to expect during an office visit?

The new patient visit lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes and the follow up visit usually are 30 minutes.  The acupuncture needles are retained in the body anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes during the visit.

Prior to the first visit, please read and complete all forms under the +Forms tab.

What does Acupuncture feel like?

The acupuncture needles are very thin. One can even fit 10, 20 or more acupuncture needles in the hole of a regular syringe needle. Occasionally, a small pinch might accompany the insertion of the needle.  Once the needles have been inserted, patients often report various sensations associated with the stimulation of Qi, such as numbness, tingling, warmth, or a dull grabbing sensation.

Do you see pediatric patients?

Dr. Sun welcomes families to the practice and treats them regularly.  She enjoys diagnosing and treating children to promote healing and continued wellness. Frequently, children experience food allergies that cause a host of health problems that can be controlled through diet and nutrition.   If your child is experiencing recurring health or behavioral challenges, Dr. Sun can help develop a care plan that will get to the root cause and create peace of mind for your son and/or daughter.
